How big is your Thargoid?

Andrak on the FD forum has pulled the 3D models from the game to compare the size of aThargoidship to a 'conda.

Of course, what we've seen so far might be their small scout ships or the new 'tharglets' as per the '84 version.

That comparison is scary, especially after reading the in-game description of the "unknown ship wake" data in 2.4 beta.

Im sure you all know this.
But the "tharg bases" when first discovered was about 3km radius.
They have since grown a few km..

Yep, which makes it a bit of a pain to drive out from to be able to call your ship.

If you look up the definition of an interceptor, you will find that these are typically rather small to achieve best performance. And this thing looks to out-mass an anaconda.

The fact that they have given them a ship type says to me that we are going to see different ones, if the bases are actually ships then potentially we are looking at the Thargoid capital ships, the ones we've encountered (well others have anyway, I'm still yet to be hyperdicted) may well be tasked with pulling us out of hyperspace (hence their designation), I fully expect to also see smaller 'fighter' type ships (probably in CZs), there may even be non-combat related craft.
