It came to me yesterday when I, by chance, arrived with a Cutter full of Basic Medicines, this morning I went for more and
did some Outbreak missions.
For the rest I don't know what to do, I don't know if it helps or where I can see how much it helps.
I pulled out my ships but that's probably the most cowardly deed I did in ED but I heard of people who couldn't reach their ships due to the closing of a shipyard in an outbreak system

Bringing in meds and doing outbreak related mission for OoM is the way to improve the current state, from what I've been told. Thanks for helping The Order!

As John Luke says, running missions, bringing in meds (delivering medication during an Outbreak removes 2 points from the Outbreak pool and adds 1 point to the Influence pool).

You can also sell Exploration data, which takes 1 point from the Outbreak pool.

And while you're there dropping off supplies, it's a good opportunity to get some pharmaceutical isolators from USS's.
