Thank you all for your insightful replies, I plan on playing a role of hauler/trader and occasional bounty hunter or just help out where needed catching the bad guys. Eventually I would like to explorer but I do not know enough on how to, still getting accustomed to jumps and travel lanes.
On my Cobra Mk III, I went the wrong way without a fuel scoop and ended up without fuel in places where there were only sun like stars and no stations in sight.

So I went ahead an purchased the Anaconda and left it stock since I read online that even stock the Anaconda is a very good ship for PVE ( I do not do open play so I thought I was good there)

Being new I already had problems from the get go, the anaconda was very slow and unresponsive to me coming from a cobra which is of course expected. I had to make a huge jump from where I went to buy it back to where I was, got caught during jumps and was taken out which cost me a pretty penny on insurance.

Needless to say, I sure made a mistake in going to the Anaconda at this early stage. sold it back and got an ASP explorer instead which is much more up my alley. I lost around 46+ Mil on this little adventure but lesson learned. My next ship I am thinking might be a Fed dropship or an imperial clipper but not for a while need to up the ranks first.

Would be nice to be able to test drive a ship before committing to the purchase , unless there is and I do not know about it.
