If you are one of those grinding Empire rep at HIP 10716, you better work fast.
Because when I get that bar filled, I'll get the Cutter, install a cargo rack in every internal slot plus a mining laser. After I have filled the cargo racks with explosives, I'll fly back to this sad rock and drill a hole to the core, drop in the explosives and jump away to the closest station selling liquor.

Jack Dunhill wrote:This truly is weird ship. Shields are total rubish, but with military armor there seems to be little use for those anyway. It sure is going to take lot of getting used to ignoring that "shields offline" message. I think i'll try those Bi-Wave shields to this ship too.

The thick hull & biweave combo works well for me too. Gratz Jack!

If you want to survive out here, you've got to know where your towel is.

If i would have bought this FAS sooner i'm sure i would have skipped FDL, Python and only use Anaconda for trading/exploring.

My honest opinion is that this ship is way too good (not that im really complaining, i LOVE it). ;)
Now i understand why AI piloted FAS is the only ship that sometimes gave my conda a hard time

It's armor can take unbelivable punisment (i just rammed Python with my shields down and it took way more damage than my FAS)
It almost feels more agile than a Vulture
It's pretty fast compared to smaller ships
With 3 pulses on the bottom and one large plasma on the top i think this ship can take out enemy ships as fast as my battleconda. Enemy just can't escape the FAS
and the list goes on...

I cant' actually think of any real downside for this ship, maybe that poor shield strenght, but then again it really doesn't need shields anyway so.. :D

Jump range is pretty poor too, but this is a combat ship so it was expected.

Combat Grind to Elite, not doing to bad up to 48%; thats taken me 11 days so far from 0% Deadly, found Compromised Nav Beacons the best again lots of small/medium ships ranked Elite/Deadly/Dangerous. Averaging 20-25 kills for a % point increase, however if winged up this doubles or trebles depending on the number in the wing, so best advise is solo from what ive found.

Surface missions; destroy power generator, destroy all sentrys, self-destruct sidewinder to teleport back to the station to hand over the missions and take new ones. Repeat.
