Still exploring. Found a small neutrons field on my way back home, so I'm farming it. Today I found 1 Earth-like, 7 water worlds, 19 neutron stars (10 of which had already been discovered) and 20 white dwarfs.

yeah they also do that if you're in a Vulture sometimes.

last night i had an elite Anaconda with dialogue i'd never seen before - "i am wanted, but never taken." and "to succumb to my power is nothing to be ashamed of." - when i killed him with my Vulture he earned me 245k which is the highest single bounty i've seen for a long time. he was like one of the 'pirate lords' we used to encounter in v1.0 assassination missions.

Finishing the last 35% to get Elite in pilots' fed. After that, wait until 1.4 drops and start flipping systems again, since they will allow civil wars to start regardless of current 'state'. At some point, I will pin my eyelids open with needles or toothpicks and work on exploration.
