Got the Corvette's powerplant to 48.05MW and increased the jump range to 17.45LY.

With that kind of power, does that mean you can now run all beam lasers?

I finally finished up my exploration trip. I bounced around to five different locations to sell all the data, to spread the reputation around (including both Raff's & Apathaam). This got me to Level 5 with both Elvira and Farseer, and also got me to 72% of the way from Pioneer to Elite (I started this trip at 40%).

Getting to L5 with Elvira got me the introduction to Qwent, so I might bounce over that way to get the invite from Sirius (since I've had their permit for a long time now. I don't feel like grinding out 25 macguffins, though, so I'll deal with that later.

What I think I will do, though, is grind some materials to get the L5 FSD drive range upgrades from Farseer, then hop out to the Neutron fields to try to pick up that last 28% to get Elite. From what I've read you need to sell 161M CR of exploration data for that, and I've sold just over 130M so far.

I'm 500ly out, and found a system where one planet is 0.7% Polonium (2.04G) and another is 1.2% Yttrium (0.03G). After 90 minutes on the former, I found five (5) Polonium. And 45 minutes on the latter netted two (2) Yttrium. This means I actually have fifteen (15) and six (6), respectively. Arsenic, Cadium, Nobium and other things are totally not an issue any more as well, as i'm 30+ each.

So I'm about 1,100ly out, almost straight down, and found a 2.1% Yttrium, 1.15G planet. It's so funny ...

I literally was on no less than four (4) planets with 1.3-1.4% Yttrium, and found 0 over 4 hours, after shooting probably 40 Metallic Meteroites. Then, I shoot one Metallic Meteorite, and out pops three (3), for a total of +9 Yttrium.

Finally found a lot of Mercury too.

Stupid question to anyone out there, does switching a ship cause any issue with stored cartographic/stellar mapping data? I really want to get back to founders, switch to my Courier or Corvette, and fly to an Engineer world to dump data.
