The Peak is ABOVE the drop zone, so when we got close, we started to float away in our buggies. Of course, it was Tor that saved Dawg and I by playing baseball with our buggies using his Python as a Bat to knock us out of the sky and back to the surface. Though he did have to self destruct to end up back in his ship.

We owe him a couple of rounds.

I will post the video in the A-Team Thread.

So... where is this video?

I will say that I love how Dawg is the picture of Zen, perfectly content to float along in his buggy with a toasted cheese sandwich at the beginning. :-)

I finally made a pilgrimage to old Sol - I was planning on waiting until atmospheric planetary landings, but I wanted to see it before I died. I was in the system about 3-4 hours, visiting every planet, and I never saw another commander.
It's time to give this another go.

I'm in the Alpha Fornacis area trying to find missions for the dreaded Specialized Legacy Firmware.
Got 2 a couple of weeks ago here with ease, but not having much luck this time... any tips?

At least i found a few missions for other rare stuff like military grade alloys and supercapacitors.

My latest find is that the Specialized Legacy Firmware can be found in USS with satellites. Those USS spawn around inhabited Earth-like planets.
I haven't been able to check this as I've been unable to log into Elite due to RL complications.

The 4137k profit per tonne is now out of supply lasted for 30 million credits. Took what I thought would be an easy go kill 27 pirates that belong to a certain gang operating in another system tougher than I thought spent 2 hours last night searching for them but finally success. Still struggling with the Weapon placement on the new FAS still thinking I am flying the Vulture. Landing at Outpost is interesting after months not doing any. Oh well the landing does not look pretty but it gets done.

Side note. Took an Orca over to another system to buy a Python. A 80 Mil taxi ride but nice ship to fly and wow it can Boost to 440. Ya I know a waste of Credits.

They indeed do, satellites appear only in encoded emissions uss but data beacons in degraded emissions uss can also give them.
