Engineers - how to get introduction to Marco Qwent?

Seeing "Sirius Corp" there. Rep "grind" ahead for those who aren't allied with Sirius guys?

I've given up on it. What I found out is that you need to do this:

• Get an introduction from Elvira (don't know how)
• Get allied with Sirius Corps
• Go to a Sirius station and get an invitation mission
• Then give Marco what he wants

BTW - I do have a Sirius permit.

My hunch was correct - I needed to fit a level 3 mod from Elvira to get the introduction to Marco. Also, doing this opened up another introduction to Zachariah Nemo. Onward!

Update - Marco wants 25 modular terminals. Oh FFS. And I can't even find his base on the Galaxy map. Bugs galore!

Did you apply any level 3 mods from Elvira?

Now that I have to find 25 Modular Terminals it leads to a bit of a dilemma.

These items only be gained from doing missions, and then only 4 at a time. So I need to get 7 missions that award these items. I have to hang onto these as I get them and keep looking for mission spawns for the next 4 until I have 25. I cannot change to a ship that does not have cargo racks. If I go to a RES I will be plagued by pirates because of carrying cargo. The solution? I have to keep logging in and out of the different modes hoping that the missions come up. I can't really do anything else. Clearly there's a need for storage.

Edit - actually it may be possible to deliver 4 at a time to Marco Qwent. I'll check it out.
Edit 2 - it is possible. So you can do other things in between missions.

If I've just got back from an exploration trip and went to the Engineers to sell my data would I immediately rank up with the Engineers?
Also, would selling exploration data to the Engineers count towards my explorer rank?

Yes, and Yes. But only sell to Felicity or Elvira. (Careful when landing at Elvira's place, the planet has 1.2g and is a bit trickier if you don't have shields.) And you need to log out and in for it to show up as rep.

Nope, haven't mats for any. The only lvl-3 mods I've so far managed are from 'Blaster' and Farseer.

I think then that one needs to be about 30-40% level 3. For me doing a level 3 mod with Elvira took me past that point.
