Update: Solved. Used self destruct from right hand panel.

Got blasted in my Lakon 6 yesterday. No option to buy old loadout. Ticketed.

Grabbed the Sidey today. I have the will power of a wet sponge cake, so couldn't wait for some kind of response.

Still in Hermitage.

Nowhere to jump to except Wolf 654. So I line her up, and get this message: Frameshift canceled: Malfunctioning.

All modules are at 100%. Tried rebooting the game. No change.

So, went from having a blast in my Lakon 6 yesterday, to being stuck in a Sidewinder in Hermitage today.

This is truly the biggest downer I've had with Elite: Dangerous so far.

I'll ticket and see what happens.

Update: Apparently the free Sidey given to me after the insurance bug doesn't have the jump range to get me out of Hermitage...

Edit: hum, not sure that would work, because according to this, Hermitage has no black market. Can’t you jump to any other system at all?

Nope.

Ticketed it. Hoping FD will put me somewhere else.

One thing I haven't tried yet, is the selfdestruct option. This should place me in a space station. But can't try atm.

Well, if it puts you in Hermitage’s station, that wouldn’t help. Another possible solution would be Clear Save, from the Online menu. I think that would take you back to Eranin, but I guess you’d probably lose all your credits too.

No stations in Hermitage system.

Did a selfdestruct from the right hand menu. This put me back in Aseban. So all is good again! YAAAYYY!!!

I had that too, but I was in a Conda with lots of range, I was also in Hermitage sight seeing the brown dwarf.

Selected another system and it worked.

Selected that weird system again and malfunction again.

There's just some systems you can't jump too?

Cause it it's out of range then you'll get the use too much jump fuel error. Not the malfunction error.
