I enjoyed the Eagle more. Although you have to stay away from Anacondas and some rich twat NPC in an ASP gave me a bit of bother. Kitting out the Eagle in Asellus Primus as I write this.

Well I have had my trading head on tonight in the hauler getting some dosh to try out beam lasers on the Viper........

Took a few lucrative missions................








Notice the balance on the last piccie..............


Took a few other missions...................Flew back to home port...........

Balance 131,000...............WTF.............Lost about 100,000 ish.....


Bang go the fecking beam lasers............


Also on one interdiction I evaded it in about a second !!!!!!!....Just made contact with the escape vector and bam....Interdiction avoided...............

Some strange shite happening for me tonight.........Bummer on the dosh though....That was about 2-3 hours work......All stations that I found with palladium only had 1 ........

Also forgot to mention....One must always remember what ship one is flying......DO NOT try to fuel scoop with the ship that does not have a scoop.......And just sit there staring at the screen and scratching ones head as the temp rises..... D'oh.....

Whilst on the subject.....Fuel scooping is a hell of a lot easier than it was on the original......Unless you get interdicted of course....Like I did on several occasions....

Combat is one of the areas I've not really done much with in the betas so decided to sell my Asp last night and pick up a Viper. Thing is I've not been able to find any Power Plants to FSDs for it. Went to Styx, Aulin, Assellus Prime, I Bootis, Opala and Ovid and there were no plus symbols by either category.

Anyone had any luck with this recently?

All those are good places. My favourite has to be G 180-18 which is a jump from Opala or Ovid (I can't remember which but it's out that way) kitted out my Viper with some lovely upgrades with a couple of trips there. The station begins with A I think.
