Yep, good to go also. Connie is loaded with mats and is ready to roll. Contemplating not turning up to the launch as i'd suspect if theres any griefing to be done, now will be the main opportunity.

As i've said previously, i am taking a batch of limpets in case of emergency among the mobius family.

That's a fantastic reference! Thanks for sharing. :)

I was torn about joining the expedition as I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to keep up with the fleet, but I couldn't turn down the chance to participate in such an awesome community-driven event, especially one that involved exploring. So I signed up. If I can get past NGC 6357, where I last stopped on my previous failed attempt to reach the core, it'll be worth the trip. :)

Right now, I'm grinding trade runs till the very last minute so that I can get as sick and tired of docking in stations as possible before leaving them behind for a loooong time. Just need a few more credits to outfit my Conda and I'll be all set. Can't wait for launch day!

Well.... I'm in, what the heck.

Have just signed up, however due to real life commitments will mainly be doing the journey in Mobius and thought I'd see if there was anyone else doing the same? With a little searching/stumbling found this thread.

Let me know if you are and I'll keep an eye out, who knows, even possibly arrange to meet up if any when convenient.

Regards & Fly Safe!!

I think i'll end up doing the run in mobius. I'll give the DW group a go to start with, but I suspect people will be greatly disappointed when it comes to base camp meet ups.

From my own experience I have never found randoms on planets unless either specifically jumping into their instance via their wake, or grouping up in the system and then going down to the planet. Simply going to the same place my friend was when he was already on the surface didnt work, nor did winging up and then going down. We had to wing up in the system first, in order to see each other.

I dont see it being possible to have these large meet ups on the planets they are planning, unless FD have changed something on the backend recently.

I'm at the meetup point now in the kamzel group. There are maybe a dozen cmdrs landed, some logging in and out.

Don't forget to repair ship integrity before starting ;)

Yep successfully set off to the great beyond.
Instancing was working. Popped into one with about 10 or so Cmdrs.

Good luck with the lag. Didnt experience any myself but did get some long load times between jumps. Guess the servers werent prepared of hundreds in the same system :)
