How many deaths?

Just a fun inquiry if you're not too busy playing ED!

How many legit deaths have you had with this game. Anything really, except for a bug where the station blew you up.

I've had 3 deaths since launch.

1. Swung around with boost in a crowded resource collection site and rammed an NPC Asp in my Cobra and insta-dead.
2. Accidentally shot a security force as he flew in front of me and all of them turned on me in my Eagle. Didn't take long to die.
3. Jumped into a conflict zone and had no idea what I was doing, back then I didn't even know how to pick a faction/side. Killed a couple ships and then just got my ass handed to me because it was mayhem that my Eagle was not equipped for!

All tolled its still only been 29k in insurance so I'm not complaining and in all 3 scenarios I've learned something from it and was still enjoying myself even though it ended it death.

Pretty much the same! Almost. haha. Only two insurance claims to date. One was me biting off more than I could chew in my Eagle and getting basically insta-popped by a Cobra. Haha. The second was me giving the new Viper a test drive at the local nav beacon. I foward-thrust boosted it right into an NPC Cobra, and obliterated myself. Whoops.

No deaths since launch, but I haven't fought any commanders yet and I only have about 150 claimed bounties - maybe 175 kills including in anarchies. Came close when an Anaconda interdicted me and blasted my Cobra with plasma guns or something, as I went down to about 15% hull & dead shields in about 2 seconds.

I assume no one is going iron man.

Just once for me... forgot to ask for docking permission. I forget what ship I was in though, I think a hauler or an adder.

One for me as well, hit by accident a Cop Viper while finishing a wanted Imperial Clipper with my Eagle.
One Elite Anaconda and 3 Vipers shot me in 5 seconds for a 155 Cr. bounty ! (Lost the 49K bounty of the Clipper plus 12K insurance)

Two for me, the first was just after starting the game, entered a station without clearance, panicked at the trespass warnings and was then gunned down by the station. Second, came out of hyperspace into an F class system, wasn't paying attention nor had I reduced throttle before jump and emergency dropped for getting to close, then slowly cooked to death.

Death near star after discovering that fitting a fuel scoop is a good idea before going exploring.
Death near station after getting stuck in the grill around the letter box.
Death inside station after forgetting to ask permission to dock.
Death inside station after going full speed into the station and hitting the spike at the back.
Death near station after exiting a station with illegal goods.
Death after collision with a T9 in my Cobra while trying to save that T9.
Death in fight with Elite Anaconda in my Cobra.
Death after a near head-on collission with another T7 with my own, exiting a station at full throttle.

Lol, Kiltrathi - perhaps you should avoid stations altogether in this game!

Can't wait to trade in my T7 for a Python, then I'll leave these deadly stations for good and live my life on platforms! That T7 death hurt, even though the ship wasn't too expensive, the cargo was.

I've only died twice, one was jumping into White dwarf system or something and getting burnt alive. Learnt that lesson, I was in a Hauler but was exploring so didn't lose too much.

Second time, I left my ship (Type 6)a few clicks outside a station and went of to sort my kids beds out. Only to have the wife say "I think Robin may of been playing with you computer", Some how my little 2 yr old girl managed to turn my ship around and fly it straight into the station. I did ask if she had fun on daddies computer. Which she replied "Yes, SPACE SHIPSSSSS" over 30ton of rares onboard lost. But I had to admire my little girls piloting skills. Just shame she hasn't conquered docking yet.
