on my way to Colonia... currently stranded with purple stars in COL sector

Use the galactic map filter to find the scoopable stars close to you. Always plan ahead, if you are below half tank, start checking the stars enroute to see if scoopable. Else, find one that is and get topped up.

I tend to be very cautious when exploring cause there is a problem where if the match making server disconnects in mid jump, you are back to the system where the jump started minus the fuel required to make the jump.

Back at work after two 4-day weekends.

Right now my Sidey is parked about 1/3 of the way to Colonia. I got distracted watching football and ran out of fuel - luckily I jumped to a scoopable star. Phew!

Clearing my save and starting over in a Sidey is the best thing I've done in over a year. When I do things, working for it, I feel like I'm actually accomplishing something. I was just bored silly being able to do whatever I wanted by just paying for it. I think I'll still slow play my advancement in hopes of more fun things to learn and do in Season 3 - especially as a low ranked player.
