It's just weird how fast civilization begins once you're within teh 1000ly bubble.

Thanks. I docked at Jameson, as slow as possible as to not fail. Then I switched to my Courier, outfitted it to best-in-class modules from the stripped version I had for scanning, that had max range, but no sort of power. Now it's equipped for planet scanning if needed. It's so weird to be back in the bubble after a few weeks gone.

Now, 4 more jumps and a planetary landing at Khun, in a ship I haven't landed on a planet in since the 2.0 beta..

I suspected CB was using a thargoid/borg enhanced FTL quite a while back.

Just hit Ranger with Elite. UNfortunately, my game is constantly crashing when I sell a page of data.. If I do anything for a minute or two, bam, crash..

level 4 with Martuuk. Got invites for 2 more engineers. 31% more until I hit level 5 with Martuuk. 95% until Pioneer. I doubt I have much scan data left.

My existing scan data was enough to make it to level 4, 90% on Martuuk.. That 10% left irks me to no end. So now I'm going to head back to Jameson, grab my Asp, and go out 2,000LY into the uncharted space.. It's sad that the bubble is so small. Go 1,500 LY out, and it's all unexplored awesomeness.

Anywho, might as well head back out near where ever the Sirius Group operates, scan some new-earths, and get this engineer at 5/5.

Also, I finally and totally get the RNG part first hand.. It's so freakin' stupid, silly, ridiculous, etc. Though, I was doing some level 1 boosts, and I did get a sweet outcome for that.. Still, What type of bs is this? is the work of these people so suspect they can't even be reliably measured as they are crafting it? The sliding scale going back and forth while crafting just makes it all that much worse.. I know, late to the party, but seriously, Frontier, wtf mate?

11% Ranger now, woot woot. I think I might plot a circular route around the bubble at 2,000LY out. Should give plenty of good scans by then, deep scanning each system for that distance.

Think I'm done shuttling supplies to Obsidian. With my current capacity I don't think I'll be able to breach the top 10, so I'm content with the top 10%. Now to try out these 64 Arietis missions for profitability.

Been having fun in the Python with large multicannons, so I thought I'd try synthesizing some premium ammo. After doing that for all three guns, I though I better empty my cargo hold before going into the RES. Out of habit, I "repaired all" for some interdiction damage and "reloaded all" for chaff and SCBs. I instantly got a bad feeling that I should have used the selective repair menu, so I checked the modules and yup, the premium 30% damage bonus was gone. I had not fired the guns after synthesizing the ammo, so there was nothing to reload. Damn it, it took me weeks to find that antimony, mercury, and tungsten (several months ago).

I've got to imagine this is old bug that they still haven't fixed.

Back in my AspX. Heading to Khun to grind the last 8%, then back out to NGC 7822, then going to ring the bubble scanning at 2,000LY out.,

IO just have to say, I really appreciate the little stuff in Elite, like stopping to scoop salvage for the engineers. It takes a few minutes, but it's fun.
