But I want to get a good 2M exploration data to unlock Farseeker Level 5. Right now I'm Level 3 and 62% towards Level 4.

2 million will most likely not be enough for level 5. I had to spend about 3 million to get Martuuk from level 3/9% to level 4/2%, and another 12 million to get to level 5.

Okay, thanx for the info. Some people were talking only 5M total to get to Level 5. I guess that is not accurate.

I'm at Level 3 @ 62% to Level 4 right now. I only went out 500ly, and will spend a few days doing that, to get 2M+. Then I'll return and see where I'm at, likely not far into Level 4 based your info. I'm also thinking of doing some Level 3 crafting with my Thrusters, now that I have A-spec (even if -1 size), and trying to get more of a kick from that too.

Looks like engineer material drops is being trippeled, don't know about recipies yet.

Is that supposed to read there will be 3x as many "rare" and "very rare" materials to be found?
Or we'll need to provide 3x as much?

The patch adds default keysets to Elite for the X56 btw.

They are, found a link to an overview spreadsheet in the patch thread. No more Yttrium and Polonium hunting for the level 5 FSD range increase

Getting duke was such a grind, I stopped grinding rep after that. By comparison, getting Admiral took so much less time.. Caused me to develop an RSI from the movement, but my Fed rank is maxed.
