Just about to throw the towel in.......
Pissed off with being interdicted every jump/2nd jump by ships normally Elite or deadly.....One rank above my arse....
Not on a mission or anything.....Just out going from A to B exploring along the way......
Yep, it's back as of recent server updates the past week or two, still only being "Expert" combat level. I've been getting DDE (Dangerous, Deadly and Elite), yet again -- although in my case, I did sign up for the Jaques CG. Don't know if that factors in. Might be that "engineers" counts as a "mission" too. Don't know.

And then them cheating.......
Chaffing like fook constantly and when I finally get their shields down after a pretty hefty battle......Like me no shields and part hull missing....
In a blink of an eye they are FULLY back up again.......Like all 3 rings......And yes they were completely down.......
I couldn't get a Deadly Python's shields down last week. He kept belching off cells every time I got him down to 1 bar. It was one of my longest battles. I was out of mines entirely, and the cannon was way down on ammo. The f'er just took everything I threw at him.
Luckily I was in an Anaconda, and even only Class 4A Shields (my max trading configuration, +48t over Size 6 Shielding) + 5x Class 0A Shield boosters (all level 1 engineered) meant I was 700MJ w/+7.5 resistance. So I was able to jump out just before he got my shields down.
Honestly don't know how I survived in a Python prior, with half the shielding of my Anaconda.

Might give it a break for a while......
Logic in this game is rapidly disappearing........
Like travel 258,000ls to explore a planet......
Nothing......No other ships......Nothing.......
Till the scan starts and then interdicted........
Nah.........
Yeah, I had that happen to me when my cargo hold was empty last week. No idea, but they're f'ing with the backend ... again. Luckily it was just a Deadly FAS, and not a Deadly Python that time.
