how does the vette fly compared to the conda/hows its cargo? I have been thinking of going for either a vette or a cutter and I am just not sure what would be best for me.

Depends on what you want to do. The cutter is not maneuverable at all before drive tuning, but it is fast, and holds the most cargo in the game. Has decent weapons too.

Corvette is much more maneuverable, has a bit more firepower, but not a ton of cargo space, and jump range sucks.

i might hold out for a cutter, I hear a lot of good things about them, and they have decent jump range by what I understand.
I mostly ignore drive tuning and such, I just cant get the mats to do the mods

Ok jump range, anyway. I had 19ly before mods, now 25 with a pretty heavy build. Oh, you can also make a shield tank out of it.

If you mostly want combat, corvette is the way to go, but if you want trading, or maybe multirole, I'd go Cutter. And I have.

What the others said,

If you want to do multirole and don't want to do the rank grind then the Anaconda is for you but if you already have the rank or want to get the rank, go for the cutter.
In my case I chose to go with combat so I got the corvette but once the engineers came out my only objective was to increase the jump range... the grind started and after a long time and with a LVL5 FSD upgrade, The corvette was able to do 20 LY with a heavy combat loadout ( Hull packages mostly ). After that I tried a multirole setup and it gave me 520 tons ( 584 without the Fuel Scoop) with a range of 16.8 LY fully loaded which for a Corvette is not bad at all.

Still no Vive? Think your mailman (mailwoman, mailperson, mailrobot ... whatever) stole it? Or maybe a neighbor? :P

Or did you get it, haven't showered in a week, and just forgot to post that you got it?
It's time to give this another go.

I gave a quick post on the facebook. But yeah I got that last Thursday:)

Well what can I say yes it's awesome. But the vive ando ED has more than just legibility issues.

First is the aliasing. I have found a configuration file setting in the steamvr config to add supersampling but that means anything more than vr high in game starts stuttering.

And vr high is closer to medium graphics settings than high.
But just adding 40% more pixels to the rendering really helps a lot with the worst of the sparkles and aliasing . The oddest bug is possibly the scaling. For some reason the pilot body is more like the body of a small tween <5' at most.

And that just feels a bit weird but nothing you quickly can't ignore.

That said flying an asp x around a planet is freaking awesome. I had more than one stomach lurching moments but I have not gotten nauseous or anything yet and I can't for some reason not stop doing back flips in the buggy now. It's just too much fun.

The whole device and steam vr feels well. Very beta level.
I wouldn't really recommend it unless you where really die hard about vr.
I would suggest waiting on vr.

And soon the "more money than sense crowd" will be tossing their vive's up on Craigslist or eBay for 50% off I'm sure.

I will try to do a proper review later. But yes it's as awesome as they claim but it's also got a lot of issues.

Well, that sounds cool, yet still disappointing. But have fun with it anyway.
It's time to give this another go.
