I restarted playing like 1,5 weeks ago after letting the game rest after last summer or so.

The last couple of days I spent in Ngolibardu to try out participating in a community goal. About an hour a day of casual hunting with my Cobra in the high RES was enough to be in Top 25 at the end yesterday with a surprising reward of 16mil.

And now I have an ASP Explorer... fascinating how fast it can go sometimes.

Big shout out to all the other Mobius group CMDRs who winged up with me and tolerated my re-n00b actions and helped me out alot (pulling aggro two wings of 3 Imp.Eagles at the same time, etc.pp - sorry again).

Aint THAT the fecking truth......

Thing that is pissing me off is we beta test.......Report bugs etc......Then they drop the game with some bugs cured...But they also make other changes that impact the game in a big way......Why not do this in beta and test the changes before they go live.....

In beta I could not give a toss about losing a ship....Lost about 20 in this one testing shit......But losing something I have worked for, for months to a bug that has been reported or worse introduced on the drop really pisses me off.....

Plus how long have the missions been borked in one way or another......

Engineers is just another grind using as said every piece of equipment in the fecking game....Now if I want certain stuff I am being forced to mine.....Kharma don't mine.....Full stop....

Yes I could ignore the engineers completely...Just like I did powerplay.....But that would leave me at a disadvantage to other ships.....So I am being forced to use em......

So much for play the game YOUR way.......

No wonder they changed the outfitting screen....

Seems I'm going to be spending most of my fooking time in there swapping shit in and out....

Other option is to buy and configure other ships for certain roles......Fine if you play all the time and have shedloads of credits....

Like you, I don't mine. If I have to, I'll wear a hat and do it in solo mode so no-one recognises me.

No all gimballed now, turrets weren't doing much.

Thankfully, they nerfed npcs yesterday. They still interdict more often, but not absurdly so.

Finally put about 9 million more in the bank last night. Wish I could spend this time getting a level 5 fsd upgrade, but I am just not finding those materials. 4 May have to do. Happy to be digging out of the financial hole I got thrown into this weekend, however.

I think having upgraded thrusters is also making my trade runs noticeably quicker and more efficient, just because I spend less time maneuvering around stations.
