I'm surprised how just fully scanning a system over 15 minutes netted me over 150K credits and another 6% jump towards Pathfinder. Basically any time something has 35+ objects, I scan it fully. I only took one 1,000ly trip out to the Coal Sack, and have stuck around the bubble since.

I think someone mentioned here that they were able to reach Elite without every going more than 100ly out. I guess that's why if we ever do the half-way, half-@$$ tour, I want to hang with a wing of 2-3 more, so we can scan systems quickly (divy-up in directions) and earn a lot of credits on the way out, and back.

I've broken into the top 15% and top 25% after more than 5000 and 3500 tons for the Rats and Wyrd, respectively. The former broke Tier-4 last night, and the latter is still getting to Tier-3 but has the added bonus of unlocking the Huge Gimballed Pulse (?) Laser mount. Should net 10-15M credits aggregate, and will done more runs to keep in those brackets before the end later this week.

I'm still a measly Broker, half-way to Entrepreneur.

Yes, but when I packed I left my patience on the table back at home , after about 10k ly I just wanted to get there and back, I much prefer killing stuff to finding things.

Yes, but when I packed I left my patience on the table back at home , after about 10k ly I just wanted to get there and back, I much prefer killing stuff to finding things.

Exactly.

And that's the thing ... when I finally make my Sag-A trip, I want to scan and scan and scan and take 3+ months. In fact, I want to take a wide arc and find all I can on the way, there and back. Anything with 30+ entries is going to get a full scan, or those with just a few planets that would be quicker.

I'd love to find 2-3 wingmen to do it with, and we'd sometimes do it asynchronously, posting what systems we scanned on our own when we weren't on-line together. I'm not too interested in going all the way to Beagle, just to Sag-A and back.
