Fed ranking is so much more boring mate.

Thankfully I have finished with that, meaning that I got both Fed and Imp rank prerequisites to buy a Cutter and a Corvette, and I will not bother myself to gind for Admiral and King ... I hope.

It feels uncomfortable to exploit things in E: D to get the Navy ranks, but...

At least I mixed both grinds with a lot of classified data and long range smuggling missions, not so much to lighten the "guilt" but to avoid going crazy while switching modes to spawn donations and ground assaults ...

I did the same and the vette is great!

I mix it up with LRS Missions, but no more trade for me. hit the double billy and now just having fun.

There's only one star in the game I really wanted to visit and explore. My favorite star IRL. I knew I'd get all the way out there and there wouldn't be anything that interesting, but still. Last time I turned around just short of it to sell the data at Rafferty's, figuring I'd hit it next time.

Decided to hit T Tauri, which hilariously enough has two stars neither of which are T Tauri type. While there I realize it isn't that far away and decide to make my way toward it.

I get there and the third star is like 770k LS from jump in. Urgh, but okay.

The fourth is more than 2mil LS from jump in. *sigh* friggin sadists, but okay.

Fifth is about 7,487,905ls from jump in. You motherfu...

Those last three aren't exactly all on the same side of the main jump in star. Sonofa...

Will make Viscount today, still long way for the Cutter. I think I will finish the trade rank with the TradeVette 39% to go...

Will make Viscount today, still long way for the Cutter. I think I will finish the trade rank with the TradeVette 39% to go...

The imps must be pulling their butt-hair (to use a paraphrased expression of ours) when they see you dock in a Federal Corvette at their stations-ports

Maybe I should buy a Cutter and run Fed missions myself ...

If you are interested of getting over with the Imperial ranking though, I suggest you do the Hip 10716 base assault thing, it works pretty fast.

You'll see Jura listed there at 93ly. It's the closest one.

I'm currently in GCRV 1568, namely the inner ring of AB1, which is 160ly away. My choice for that system is simple ...

1. I'm grinding, now in (what I call) a D+ List Python (related thread), and ...

2. It's in Li Yong-Rui space, although many Federation-aligned, with 15% discounting Lembava and Met 20 barely 10ly away (related thread)

I basically go for the Haz RES on the inner ring of AB1, but then go 3Mm closer to the planet, closer to the innermost part, and drop out. Lots and lots of Painite and Platinum. There are also enough systems within 4-10ly for Bulletin Board price needs of Osmium, Platinum and Painite, as well as the Empire barely 20ly away who pays more for those Commodities straight-up (no mission needed).

They must have realised that and there are no more missions after making Viscount although I am 100% Allied and allied with all factions...

For the moment no more Imp grinding, apart from the occasional mission. Anoher 35% for the trade Elite. Taking advantage of the non working day
