Was doing a bit of Haz Res hunting with Lady Durga, Corvette. Made a couple of mil and was trying to land at the planetary base when RL called.
Logged out over the planet after glide, 35km from the base. Hopefully, my ship is still intact when I log in tonight.
My experience. Planetary bases and Corvettes don't play well together.

I had my Anaconda stuck in a landing pad on a surface base after i logged back in. Only thing that got it free was logging out and back in and then it was orbitting that moon.

After that i have NEVER logged out in surface base

Quick question for you guys... I did some co-op bounty hunting at a HAZ RES spot last night, it was only the second time I've Winged up for bounty hunting, so I'm not all that experienced in it. I have a couple questions.

First... I'm in a decently equipped Python (can't afford Military Composite yet, still have a B7 Power Plant) and my friend was in an Asp. Once we winged up, we suddenly noticed that Pirate wings of five ships showed up! One was a wing of five Vipers, but another one had at least one Anaconda, and I think a couple FAS. I think we'd get demolished pretty quickly by such a huge wing. For a wing our size, should we go hunt at a HI RES or even a normal RES instead of a HAZ?

Second question; how exactly does the bounty payout for co-op work? Do you get an increase in the credits you earn per-kill for being in a Wing? What determines the bonus? Can't seem to find this information on a wiki source.

Large wings are fairly common in a HAZRES, I see them often even when I'm on my own, I've found they tend to turn up after a while.

There isn't a bonus for being in a wing, you just share the bounty, the theory being that you'll be killing things at a faster rate and therefore earning more money.

Oh, there's NO bonus for being in a wing while bounty hunting? I'd assumed it would be like Trading, where you would get an increased share of profits.

The bonus is that with a wingman you can take on ships (or wings) that you wouldn't attack on your own.

Many guys with combat ready ships find that they make less money per hour in a BH wing than solo, but it's one hell of a lot more fun to be in a wing!

If the winged NPC's in the Haz-RES are too much, try switching to a High-RES and using the cops to your advantage. Different systems seem to spawn different levels and quantities of winged NPC's too, IMO.
