Day 4 and 6,000 + merits. Going strong and much less aggravating since discovering why some NPCs beat my interdiction and some don't.

Also, when interdicting transports that are in a wing, target each one before you interdict and pull out the quickest kill. The by the time the others show up the odds are more even. Go for the small ships 1st as the larger one will always hang out and watch. If you kill the big ships first the small ones fsd out.

On combat ships like Sirius security wings, disable the power plants and then pick them off one at a time :P

Some strange alien science must be going on here. :)

Finally. Something different than just seeing barren ground. Slow asteroid impact. :)
(Graphics bugs paying off.)
Makes me want to go exploring again. But have to see the war through 1st.

Have fun, fly safe. o7

Greetings all :) Our lead over Crimsom Electronics has stretched to 11.9%. We need 3.1% more to claim victory over our adversaries. Be warned that even smaller ships may be carrying PAs's (particle accelerators) and even commanders in large ships have been swarmed by them in the high intensity CZ in Exioce.

Strengthen you hulls with HRP's if you can. Commanders piloting small, fast ships should watch the backs of the bigger Order ships. Keep enemy Crimsom ships off their backs as much as possible - you can dodge those nasty PA energy balls but they can't. Teamwork is the key to this conflict.

Fly safe & watch over each other :)

53% tycoon now after a few successful smuggling runs. Despite countless interdictions and outposts refusing my initial requests for dockings. Every run was fraught but i made it. Just. Came close a few times to getting scanned and forgot docking a couple of times. Once ive made elite im going to relax and faff about and blow myself up a few times. Mining, exploring or help out in pp.

Good morning :) In the latest influence tick a little over 3 hours ago the Exioce stats shows us slipping to an 11.1% lead over Crimsom Electronics - down by 0.8 % from the last update. This is probably due to the start of the workweek and of course, Sunday is a family day so a dip in commander activity is to be expected.

Also , even small enemy ships like the Viper3 are carrying at least one PA gun which leaves the Order NPC ships at a disadvantage. This however leaves them with a critical weakness due to their borderline power levels - a significant hit to the power distributor/power plant will cripple them. I expected the BGS to throw us one last curve ball and this appears to be it.

Please wing up everyone when you reach the CZ and stick together as much as possible. We will reach the 14 day mark this Thursday but I don't expect this war to go past the weekend despite the recent setback.

Fly safe commanders :)

On a more personal front, after watching all those Commander driven big ships wreak havoc on the battlefield - I've decided to get a big ship of my own but in the direction where my ED career is heading. It's this one :

I think I can make it work despite all the problems other people have been having in the post 1.4 environment where hostile interdictions are far more common.

As I mentioned to Lanceor once , I'm really a trader at heart. I'll fight whole heartedly for a good cause but I won't fight for a living :)

Just realised that if I get to power play lvl 2 I can get % more bounties. Forgot all about that... hehe. What rank is a-l-d at present?

62% Tycoon...38% to go. At this rate next Monday should see wine, women and song. Plus I might make Elite.

Day 5, did 2,000 merits so far today in 4 hours. Used up 4400 rounds of multi cannon shells, approx 84,000 in total repairs and maybe 400 cr of fuel. 218,000 cr payment on the merits, about 1 million in bounties so, in the black so far.

Since I now know how to manage my interdictions its going much smoother.

I always disable the FSD 1st then after that I kill the target with my beam lasers, saves on the shells :)

Sirius security, when I see them I fly into them, make sure they see me, then slow down. Its so much easier to let the fools interdict me than to fight to do the same to them :)

I've killed about a dozen pythons, can't even count the vipers and cobras lol Just before my last session ended they were hunting me with Anacondas. Doesn't matter what they use, there is very little the FAS can't handle and with 2200 armor its pretty much unstoppable :)
