Just take a deep breath and walk away for a little bit.

I have had similar but different experiences. I lost an Anaconda to a stupid mistake, lost a lot of money. But I just took a break for a day or two and my obsession with trying to get my money back took over.

Rest assured, if it was a player in this group who killed you, he will not be here long. You have to understand that there are assholes in the world that want nothing more than to spread around suffering. Doesn't matter where you go or what you do or say. They will find you and they will try to hurt you in some way.

That is just the state of the world today. Once you accept that fact you can mitigate your losses by being prepared for it. You can call it paranoid if you want, but it's just a fact. I don't live my life afraid of people trying to hurt me, I'm beyond that. I can't be hurt, it doesn't matter what they do. I pity them that their lives are so horrible that they feel the need to attack others.

Yes big 2.5/3m pirate hunts have 3/4week timers.

Yes picked up a couple but finished them in a day...


BUT... Some NPC rammed me on my way out of Rafs and got himself killed... So everybody started shooting at me...managed to escape with 24% hull and now for the next 3 days I am an exile..

Just returned after a good 4 month break, succesfully tried mining soon got bored of that so i flew down here in my rep free founders clipper to check out homebase.
