Just started playing a couple of weeks ago. I'm grinding the fringe smuggler mission now. Made 12 million in about 30 minutes today. Got interdicted, had my canopy shot out and just made it to a station with 1.20 life support.

Thinking about power play next. What's a good power to join for a trader?

Wondering if a Combat Zone after a bottle of Rioja is a good idea......

I'm rather a fan of Riojas myself, but after a whole bottle, probably not (hell, 3 glasses and I'm "3 sheets to the wind" as they say).

I did the so called Sothis smuggling run (although other stations worked out MUCH better for me) this weekend three times plus a quick 3 delivery run this morning in my new Asp. (I didn't want to refit my exploration Asp, since I've got it just the way I want it )

I went from trade rank broker at 96% to entrepreneur at 57%. Profits were $146,100,000. for the weekend.

I've never been so tense, excited, and frustrated all at the same time while playing E-D. The interdicting ships, mission stacking, scooping on the fly because you have to, and thrill of getting a few mil for dropping 3-4 tons of cargo was fantastic. I'm glad I did it, and now need some relaxing game play.... like a CZ or Haz-RES.
