Day 6 - Hauler - Still trucking around Eravate and neighbouring systems.
Met my first fellow pilot, Cmdr Scian Dearg outside Ackermann in Eravate. (sorry for not reacting fast to the friend request, was trying to figure out how it worked... )

Recovering from the B.S. "ship sale" fiasco. Sold my T7 early and made the 100+ Ly trip in a sidewinder. Then there was no upgrade ship available, so I had to buy another T7. Sure, it was on sale, but it was also worth 10% less than every other T7, so I ended up losing about 1.5Mcr on the "sale". Since then, I've gone through another ~100 systems and I still can't fine a trade route as good as I had before I left for the big sale.

Next time you log in, don't go directly to "start", but go to the "friends & groups" tab, or whatever it is called, and you may see the friend request there.

Thanks, I found out in the meantime.
At the next station stop, I pressed Esc and saw it. Acknowledged and resumed game.

Ahhh yes I was nicely surprised to see another Cmdr, had bumped into another earlier Cmdr Tossface, he was zooming around in a sidewinder inside a space dock lol. Did not know how to use chat then and was manouvering my T6 through the slot so did not say hi, "nice flying Cmdr Tossface "

Been trucking a bit and bounty hunting mainly, cant complete any assasination missions yet, took on a few and failed, escaped intact but spilled my coffee and busted up my ship a bit, bloody support ships never turn up. Good to meet you in game Cmdr.

I am in a little bit of a pickle

If I know that I have over an hour to play I usually will run a couple trade runs to help keep the credit account in good order. Got home from work, jumped into the game.

Been running the same route for a few play sessions now dealing in the dirty slave trade. Take off from my normal station with cargo heading to the Slave market. Sell my goods, buy Slaves and head back to sell them. Go into the station pop up the commodities board and they are not buying slaves anymore.

Look at the system map and low and behold the station has labeled Slaves as "prohibited". I have not experienced a shift like this before, now I have over 1 Mil credits worth of Slaves in the hold and can not sell them. Glad I did not get caught bringing them in.

I have no experience smuggling, guess I need to read up on how to smuggle them out and sell them some other place. I guess you boost out of the station, might be a little interesting

I believe if you get your heat signature down you can do a boost sneak out. turn everything off except your thrusters after you get your clearence to leave. when you feel you got a good straight shot out the door raise your gear, full throttle and boost on out. You might get scanned, but if you boost the second time and get far enough away before their scan is completed you should be good.

Try Beta Sculptoris for the Seeking Luxuries site. It won't last forever though (wouldn't be surprised if they patch the supply and demand issue this week).

I've heard you can delay a scan by using chaff and heatsinks.

An exploity way of getting out could be to undock but stay in the station, log out and log in again. That should put you outside the station far enough to jump out immediately.
