Even if it happens, it won't be any time soon. Better you guys just move on.

I suggest taking your own advice.

Not sure why the hostile comment, all I was implying was that this subject has been covered at nausium and nothing will come of it as every angle has been discussed in detail from all sides. So what exactly is left?

As for me, I dont need to "take my own advice" as I like the game and am enjoying playing it. Why would I leave? :|

Quite so. No hostility here.

So did you mean us others, who are still hoping for an offline mode and therefore different playable commanders for different playstyles and different moods, should leave the game? If so: why do you feel that way? If not: what exactly did you mean by "move on"?

Please keep in mind, that I'm no native speaker, English isn't even my first language in daily life, so my understanding is quite limited.

No worries mate, your English seems fine! I will try to be as detailed as I can be.

I understand that there are those who are not trolls and legitimately wanted an offline mode. It is very unfortunate for those people and I hope one day those of you who want it can get what you want. I hope that for all of us! There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to play this game (or any game) the way you want to play it.

With that said, it seems that Frontier has made it quiet clear and has taken a strict stand on the exclusions of an offline mode. Furthermore, it seems that MANY of those voicing their concerns over the exclusion of an offline mode are not doing it in a constructive manner and are simply putting down the developers and creating ONLY negative vibes around the game and the developer.

When I say that people should perhaps "move on", I mean that perhaps it is best to make your voices heard (as you quite clearly have) and just step away until the game is at a point that YOU can enjoy it or play it as you want. There is a reason people are always told not to back, pre-order or buy early access unless you are absolutely 100% comfortable with the game potentially failing.

Nothing I say will make what Frontier did "right". At the end, we all know that cutting a feature that was important to many people so close to launch was not appropriate. But it happened. And they are sticking to it. And this topic has been covered upside down and inside out and side to side by thousands of people. My point is that perhaps its time to just move on and come back if/when the game is where you want it to be. You don't need to do this, of course. I'm not saying "I demand you leave". It just seems like there is nothing left to discuss until new information is released regarding the topic.

I hope that explains what I mean more clearly. Cheers!

The following statement is sarcastic:

I understand now. So what you're saying is that you don't see the need for this thread, therefore I and few others should just drop it, right?
We should stop posting in this redunant thread, and just post about all the things you like to discuss. How silly of me. I'm sorry. I'll remember to send you a pm for clearance before I post anything else in the future.

This following statement is not sarcastic:

Stay away from threads that you don't enjoy or find relevant, and let others discuss what they want to. Stop telling others what they should and should not do. It's very impolite.

(And yes, I'm being impolite by telling you to stay away from this thread, but I really can't understand what you are doing here (in this thread). So I apologize in advance. I don't mean to be rude, I just don't know how to say it differently)

When did I say any of what wrote in your sarcastic reply?

I'm telling you that perhaps it would be best to "take a leave of absence" from the game and community as a whole. Not the thread. I'm not telling you what to do, I simply suggested that perhaps stepping away from this whole scene would clear your mind and you can simply focus on other things until the game is where it should be based on what you want and don't want. It has all been a discussion, there was no "YOU SHOULD DO THIS OR NOT DO THAT", something I mentioned this specifically in my last post. It is part of the discussion. In fact, for all your "sarcasm" and "rudeness", you have yet to reply to what I have asked in terms of your motivation in the matter.

It's not hard not to be rude and is too bad you don't know how to say it differently. If you did, perhaps you would be able to project your views in a better way. I will leave the thread as you have requested, it is all yours. Have a good day.

EDIT: made it more reasonable

Keep this thread on topic please. It's here to discuss the withdrawal of offline mode so lets stick to that. If you don't have anything to say that is related to that topic then don't post.
