Intersteller voyage in supercruise?

I don't think it's possible with a supercruise. There should be any other way for that. But initially I didn't get what the thread actually means and I was wondering what this has to do with a supercruise. I also imagined about my first small ship and cruise adventures by Blount Small Ship Adventures through the Mexican cruise line and that was a memorable one for me.
