Btw, did anyone else realise you can move your shield generator to another slot? The Courier had size 2 shields and I moved them to a size 3 slot and bought an A3.

Yeah during 1.2, you were able to switch slots and equip smaller sized ones in case you needed the bigger for something else like cargo space. Found out about it when another member made a ship-advice thread who had his stuff retrofitted with cargo racks and a smaller shield.

In game, I guess I went away from the computer and took a while before I came back. Ended up traveling around 450km at normal speed from the station.

Scored a big ships instance in a high intensity RES last night and made 1.9m.

Few changes I noticed:

• There were Clippers, Pythons and Dropships, but I didn't see a single wanted Anaconda (there were 4 system security Condas, though);
• lots of them came in wings (like 1 Clipper with 2 Cobras, 1 Python with a Courier, 2 Clippers together, 1 Dropship with 2 Sidewinders, and so on;
• most of them were low rank (novice or competent) and some didn't even try to fight back;
• not sure how long I stayed there, but my combat rank increased by 1% (41% to Deadly) flying a Vulture.

I'm unhappy about the rank progress bars. I was hoping they would add bars for the navy ranks as well. Sick of trying to guess when I might get ascension missions popping up.

Well I seem to be having to log back in each jump. Connection Error.

Kind of handy when on the Exploration CG. Hope I am not just wasting my time and the server knows I have just scanned the system.

lucky for me you posted this, i was just about to sell all my bigger ships

i just had a weird run in with the law, 1.3 style - i entered a system to locate some salvage for a mission - but i hadn't done anything illegal yet, i was just preparing to scoop fuel - when i am interdicted by a friendly NPC security Viper. he gives me some line about being searched and the next thing i know it's "Crime detected!" and he starts going off. what crime, an offensive paint job? having my fuel scoop out in public?

so this guy follows me everywhere i go - into a USS, shooting away at me, to an outpost as well, still shooting, even when i went into the hangar... so eventually i continue my search in USSs for my cargo, with this little yap yap at my heels the whole time. found what i needed and left.
