Welcome to the Apocalypse

The infamous crime lord Don Antonaci has hacked into the Pilots Federation database and issued every pilot in the galaxy with a 1,000,000 credit bounty. The notorious criminal has also threatened to send the galactic economy “back to the stone age” if his demands are not met.

What does this fiendish criminal want?

The following statement was released moments ago:

“The galaxy has become hopelessly corrupt and it needs to be wiped clean. We need an event of apocalyptic proportions!”

“I want every pilot in the galaxy to head to the Wolf 359 system. Once there, you must hunt down all wanted pilots and collect as many bounties as you can.”

“But I don’t want you to claim them. You are doing this for the greater good, not for personal profit. Keep hold of your bounties.”

“To make sure everyone takes part, I’ve put a one-million credit bounty on all registered pilots. Everyone is a target. If other Commanders don’t kill you, the police will.”

“Happy hunting!”

The pilot with the highest unclaimed bounty voucher for Don Antonaci when Beta access is closed on the 26th of May 3302 will be declared the winner, and will be highly rewarded.

So it looks like it’s every pilot for themselves. Hope to see you before you see me in Wolf 359.

Man.... this bounty on my head is a pain in the butt!! I jumped into beta this morning while the server is updated for 2.1 (yes beta is still available during the update), to find myself interdicted twice trying to get from a station to a high-RES, which was less than 1 ls away. I had no local bounties, just this "Don Antonaci" bounty that FD provided for me. Thanks guys. Both interdictions were from Elite ranked NPC's with engineer upgrades. (one FDL, one Vette) I decided to fight the FDL and he got my hull down to 38%, took my FSD to 0%, and both of my huge beams had over 50% damage (testing different weapons loadouts today). Good thing I had an AFMU on board to repair the FSD so that I could get back to the station.

If I wasn't in beta I would have run for the hills when he knocked my Vette's shields out, but since it's beta..... ya gotta go for it.

I submitted and ran from the Conda when he interdicted me but he showed up in the High-RES right after I dropped into the instance, and started firing at me. It made for an exciting encounter. I'm glad I selected a High-Res and had a little assistance from the cops.

So.... it sounds like if you have a bounty ANYWHERE, they will come and hunt you down. Or maybe (hopefully) it's a special feature of this "Don Antonaci" bounty.

Being in beta last night with this poxy bounty...The last thing I did......

Flying the FDL I got interdicted by 3 Anacondas......

Took 2 of em down......Then went "Pop"......
