For pure combat buy the FDL. The FGS is great for planet-side assaults, slow, not great  manoeuvrability but heavy armour including many hard points.  The FDL and Python does not require rank to purchase the Lance is built for Combat like the Vulture. The Python is the best Outpost Ship, can be tanked having more internals. I like the Vulture or FDL for Combat theretofore not a big fan of Python CZ Combat but am working on that. The Python can punch, fun to fly,  will cost more Credits but she is the lowest price all around ship in the game if you compare her to the big 3. The Python is well a Python the beast.

After reading all the pros and cons I decided to go with the python, was able to cannibalize a few nodded parts from my FAS so that was a plus, the python seems a bit sluggish compared to my FAS so that will take some getting used to lol other than that it seems like it'll be a good ship once I get it kitted
