Bearing in mind last night there was no police helping me, what are the differences gonna be for me attempting a haz res in my new toy? What do I look out for?

Haz RES has, as you know, no security force ships. Sometimes NPC's will attack each other, so be sure to take advantage of that. But for the most part, the attack is all up to you (and your trusty wingman). There are still going to be clean ships in the RES, so keep an eye out for that!

The biggest and most important thing to watch out for is winged NPC's. Some of them aren't bad.... eagle and clipper, adder and conda, but when you have 3 dropships, or 2 pythons with a conda, you've got a serious fight on your hands if you attack one of them. When checking your target for 'wanted' status, make sure that it's well within your sensor range and that nothing is showing below the 'wanted' status in regards to him being in a wing. If it says 'wing 1 of 2' you might think he's alone, but the other ship is simply out of your sensor range and will probably come and find you if you attack his buddy.![]()
I will be around all weekend, and would love to wing up with you again! It sounds like you're becoming a combat junkie (like me) with your shiny new Vulture.
Let's put that bad ass ship to work my friend!
Your loadout looks good. When you can put A rated thrusters on it, the maneuverability will just get that much better. If you are using the SCB a fair amount, you may want to add a second bank in place of the HRP. To maximize profits, a KWS in place of a SB would be great if you are comfortable with the reduction in shield strength. BTW, if you are winged up only one of you needs to use a KWS to increase the bounties for all pilots in the wing.

Closest is at DVORSI / Chernykh Ring. But if you can make a long trip, going to BD-04 797 / Parker Dock (120ly from Azrael) will provide you with a 15% discount for the ship and all the possible upgrades you buy from there.

True, but as a seasoned Vulture pilot that only flew with 5A thrustres, I can say that I'm not having a problem with 4A thrusters, and I suppose 5D may work even better (I'll have to try those). Having that extra power available works wonders for power management. And having a live SCB works wonders for canopy integrity.![]()
Pro Tip: If you are ever going head-to-head with a cheating Clipper, or something, and he manages to take your shields down, turn away or your canopy will blow out in no time.
