Horizons hates me!

**just had a new concern. i have store-bought ED+Horizons and a Steam-bought ED. they both use a common set of config files. wondering if all the extra SRV controls in the config will stop the Steam ED from working, seeing as it doesn't have Horizons and SRVs.

No, 1.5 and 2.0 have separate bindings files.
I also have the steam edition but deleted it now.
It seems you get only one 64 bit product installed that does both 1.5 and 2.0, but the launcher decides which 'version' is started. It is the same game but 1.5 is lacking the planetary landing authorization.
(This is what I just figured out from looking at the directories, not official)

Hmm, I did the upgrade overnight, tried it this morning, all my bindings and graphics settings were kept intact in Horizons (did not participate in the beta) so it was a smooth transition in my case. Did not try a planetary landing yet as I have no time, hours of work are upon me for now, I only took my ASP to my home port and parked it, that small travel went smoothly.

I am in the same case, I have ED from steam and ED:H from FD store. If I understand you correctly, If I delete my steam ED before installing ED:H from FD store, will I have both 1.5 (64 bits) and 2.0 (64 bits) versions from the launcher ? No need to have Steam version anymore ?

I am in the same case, I have ED from steam and ED:H from FD store. If I understand you correctly, If I delete my steam ED before installing ED:H from FD store, will I have both 1.5 (64 bits) and 2.0 (64 bits) versions from the launcher ? No need to have Steam version anymore ?

That is correct, it is what I did. But I did delete the steam version after instelling Horizon, not before. Theoretically it should be the same however

It copies indeed the settings,, but I found the original binding file as well in the directory. Maybe because I am beta user.

I didn't backup anything, my bindings and custom HUD colours persist.

I guess it depends which file is updated with the colours, I only lost HUD colours in 1.3 power play update and after that I figured out how to keep them persistent.

Lol oh man, if my Conda blew up for no reason I'd be PISSED.

The scary part is I hadn't long been in my Annie! Took it to Jameson memorial to outfit for exploration. I would have been livid had that gone bang... I have enough to cover insurance but not really the point lol

Next at a station (sometime later and in a different ship) right lets head to a planet for some SRV fun. Request launch, ship released thrus... WHOA!!! Eject?! Boom?! Ship Destroyed?! Cost me 500k to get it back

Same thing happened to me last night.....Went to take off.....Thrusted up....Ship spun wildly around...Eject message and Boom....

1.2 mill rebuy and also about 2 mill in bounties I had forgot about because I had cashed them in in Beta....But forgot them in proper game....

So cost me about 3.2 mill.......Thanks FD......
