Each to their own, but you may be better to fit the Asp for trading until you have just a bit more for the Python, unless Baron, in which case go for the clipper

I've no ambition to try and rank up with the Empire, so I don't think I'll have access to the Clipper.
I have bought a T7 and had a couple of trial runs with it. I'm well out of touch with trading so I need to find myself some decent routes, and maybe try out one of the trading tools. So at the moment I think I'll put the T7 in store and go out and have a play with my Vulture.

Type-6 > Type-7 > Python > Anaconda - This is my way. I also tried T9, but sold it after one run

I've done some minor tweaks to the T7 to toughen it up a bit, and I'm looking at using the INARA trade tool to help make some decent profits.
So I might have a bit of a play today with some trading ....

The Python is a great ship, good all rounder, i used it for a long time for trading, around 250t cargo, i only swapped it when i decided to go for the Anaconda, the ultimate trade ship in my book, around 450t cargo (similar to t9) and well armed enough not to worry too much about interdictions.
But to go from Python to Anaconda, i had to get a T9 first, and used that to grind up enough for the Anaconda.
