Wow! Where is the Mobius station? Are folks working on stuff there, or is it a regular hangout to pick up wings and whatnot?

There are several Mobius stations, out there. I don't remember how many now, but at leat 5 or 6. The main one is in Azrael. It's a lovely station, BTW, with palm trees and all.

There's also a Mobius Platform in Sifjar that was controlled by some revolutionary group, but we kicked them out some time ago (unless they came back since then).

The search field in the Galaxy map accepts station names in addition to system names, and running the same search repeatedly will cycle over the different results.

I'm just waiting to hear that you have to play in open if you want to participate in power play. Otherwise it wouldn't be fair for the griefers.

It always amuses me when you see all these threads on the official forums about solo/open/group play, apart from specific competitions, I don't see Frontier withholding any aspects of play from solo and private groups, they don't work that way.

I agree to a certain extent as well but as you can see in another post it may be harder to implement if we don't give others a chance to oppose our power. If we all cooperate and concentrate our efforts, what is FD going to do, simulate Mobius NPCs for Open. Logically rising to to power also needs a way to be opposed, by more than just NPCs. But I guess we will have to wait and see.

The point is that to oppose a faction's goals, you merely have to support the opposing faction's counter-goals, this does not involve PvP unless you want to. Any goal that requires PvP is going to fail purely down to the nature of the game code.

If you look at the CGs in Lugh as a rest of concept, you had 2 factions duking it out in various ways, but no-one was required to leave the cosy confines of solo, unless they felt like it.
