1. Bring along a PD.
2. You can kite the interceptor away from the fighters if you have a fast enough ship.
3. Need to figure out where the synthesis missile button is.

Anyway heading back to the bubble.

Im not 100% on these but, you cannot yet synthesise experimental missiles and once the heart is extruded, you can damage it with normal weps. So save your missiles basically.

Didn't get as far as extruding the heart. Oh well, maybe next time around.

Right now I'm trying to get back into the game. I would like to either rank up my Imperial rank or work on my combat rank. I have plenty of money and a number of ships that are fully upgraded (minus engineers boosts since grinding for high end materials is a headache), but I don't really know where to start. For combat I've mostly been sticking to bounty hunting, but that's become a bit boring. My Imp rank is literally 0 since I've spent my entire playtime focusing on fed.

Any tips?

Cannot get the mission/passengers list to open, also the Galaxy Map keeps jumping all over the place. Mission fails to open or opens partial then that is it. Been this way today for me how about you?

The missions boards got absolutely horrid a few hours back and eventually I even had trouble loading back into game so yes.

Was ok earlier, then just got worse and worse as the evening progressed.

On another note, played around with those Thargoid USS's.
And they really aren't as hostile as I expected.

They scan me, I scan them, if I then leave them a buffer of 1km they don't really care about me at all, and goes about scanning the wreck site for their stuff, saw one scoop a thargoid sensor from the wreckage.
So it is their stuff they want back.

I don't know about you people but I'd wipe out the entire Federation if they stole MY viper mk3 bubble head, so I suppose this is just a proportional response on their part.

Also discovered if you 'deliver' a set of slaves umm, "Volunteer Cultural-Emissaries" they scoop them, and go green in contacts.

I was in the hew money hotpsot yesterday, doing passenger missions from Rhea. I thought it was because lots of people were grinding here that it was all bugged but even when outfitting my ship at another station it was slow as ass.

... and they said the mission boards and galactic map loaded MUCH faster during the beta. So far it's quite the opposite.

Still.. did 4 passenger runs from Rhea to LQ Hydrae..

After numerous attempts trying to get the board to load finally got 6 Missions in the pipe, completed those but was unable to collect payments because the darn board would not load. They should still be there today and I hope the problem has gone away.
