I finally got my combat rank to Elite after a long and lackadaisical journey over the past few years.

Well currently, Im spending most of my time hunting down bounties at SOL Nav Beacon. Im trying to save up credits for a big ship, i got my ASP Explorer but Im really looking forward for something more fancy, Anaconda or Corvette for example.

When I travel back to cash in bounties, i occasionally pick up data delivery missions if there are multiple ones meant for one system, the pay is alright since im allied with the controlling faction..

In terms of income, i make approx 350K - 600K per bounty run, thats 15-20min, i might get lucky to encounter some juicy targets with big pay tags on em, which is a nice boost towards a bigger pay at the end of the run.

Next im thinking of heading off far, to Colonia for example, its just... jumping into Neutron stars terrifies me but yeah, I might go on with the trip when I raise my CR balance a bit more..

Trying different builds in Beta last night. I don't like Cannons. My Ship agrees:

We went into a CZ to test some and do some mission kills. It went well till I went after a Dangerous Python while ignoring the other small ships. There was just too many for me to take them all. Interdicted by an Asp on the way back to the station, but my shields were up and he didn't stand a chance.

His post doesn't make sense. For example, at the start he says the changes will make PVE engagements risk free but then near the end says it'll make PVE encounters riskier

I think he means that currently an engineered shield with a bunch of engineered boosters is low risk. My shields and boosters aren't even engineered and are nearly unbreakable in PvE. The overall theme is some kind of nerf to shields, but the changes probably won't make it to the live version as-is.
