Thanks much, now just to find a station that has all the new parts I need for an asp miner. and to decide if I want to eventually buy a second asp just for mining. It looks like a pretty good way to make money when you have a good setup and some practice

After a productive weekend of buying and being completely blown away (especially in VR) an SLF, followed by finally getting round to binding the joystick for the Galaxy map so its actually useable in VR, I thought I'd take my Python for some FSD and drive tuning.
Why do they have to use the whole complicated slider thing and just say and just say "your ship can now jump 2 more LY laden". Puts me off even bothering, because its difficult to know if you've "won".

I have some low level mods on a couple of ships and they do help but I have no idea whats going to happen until I apply it

Just floating about the asteroid field near Raffertys doing a bit of mining. Silly nooby question- if i swap to a different ship do i love the less than 100% ores in my refinery? if said other thip say had no refinery?

I am pretty sure that you would lose the partial ores in your refinery if you switch ships.

That's what I figured. Oh well I guess. The type 6 was a good start for learning how to mine but its just not good enough. I'll be turning my taxi asp into a miner for a bit it seems. OR I might just take a break and go back to bounty hunting

Hello,
If you have the money I'd suggest a Python for mining. Currently I'm using a Clipper for mining as my Python is now rigged for multi-purpose and I don't like to keep swapping out her Canon for a mining laser. Also I only like having 1 of each type of ship.

Currently still in my way to Jacques from Sag A* in Lady Jayne (my Python).
