Dawg and Tor talked me into blowing 350 million to get another Cutter (had one that I sold when I hit trade Elite). That was Saturday. Of course it needed some FSD Love. Got it to 31.6 empty. Also did some drives, power plant, shield boosters and other tweaks.

We had to bounce between Sothis and Ceos, but it is definitely worth it.

I was almost in a panic after buying the Cutter and having only 117 in the bank. Have not had that little in a long time. But feel better with about 245. Will probably do another run or two this week as long as they hold out to get the reserves back up.

Nothing Really. You take all the long distance delivery missions, cycling between Solo/Group/open to fill your hold. Then deliver them. They are long range because the delivery might be 350-500ly away, but they pay 3-15 million each.

Your only delivering Hydrogen Fuel or Bio Waste.

I did it again last night. Sothis boards were really empty, so I took all the data missions I could from Sothis to Ceos and went over there to cycle the boards.

I left from Founders World at 9PM local time. I got there, loaded up after a couple of cycles and going between Sothis and Ceos. Once I had all I could carry (640T limit) I started the deliveries. Finished just before midnight.

Once done, I had made another 61 million. And I was taking breaks, so I could have trimmed the time about 45 minutes or so, so not bad.

Outside of super busy systems like cg's or maybe one of the more popular engineers you probably wont find people.

Another thing it depends quite a bit on your personal connection. The game will only try connect you if there are players close to you as in regards to internet close not just in game close.
If you have a poor connection with high latency the game probably won't connect you to another even if they are running around the same area.

Also people on a friends list get prioritised when connecting.
Wing members should be forced in but wings hardly at all this now so it is kind of moot.
So a line of communication outside of game is pretty crucial so check the discord/ts and see if you find anyone.

Well, the one plus about living in the interior of Alaska, specifically Fairbanks, is I have 1 TB downstream, 500 MB upstream, and my ping to my elite server is around 100-300ms. So the connection is real good, but then I need the connection for my job.

I've worked my way up to my Vulture, and had a dropship until I found a trade route that gives me like 3780k profit in one 8 minute loop. I liked the dropship's versatility, and with flight assist off, anyone who tries to target my modules is going to get completely fried. At least with NPCs. PCs are smarter.

So I have a Vulture, a Type-7, and a Federal Dropship. The Dropship is fun to pilot and with even one person in a wing, we could probably really wreck a RES of any sort. Though HazRes is always risky. I had an Asp Explorer but trading and general missions in that was a bit more risk than I liked, for some reason I got mission enemy NPCs so horny for me I couldn't escape and died a few times. Got tired of being vulnerable and got the dropship for general purpose use. The last few sucker pirates who have come after me have been completely nuked.

In and around Sol atm, but yeah, I'd be fine getting around to other places if people gather elsewhere.

Though it's good to know it's normal to not run into many people. It IS nice most of the time, the solitude and all, but... yeah, sometimes a wing would be nice. CZs in particular, or trade routes (profit sharing in those like with mining? Dunno.) Escort my delicate Type-7 and get bucks (credits?).

Just did a shift in the CZ's in Cardea, then collected the Asp and headed back to Farseer, to see if I could squeeze a few more LY out of the G5 FSD roll.

An extra 9% optimal mass will do nicely, thankyou Felicity.

Then fitted a huge 6A fuel scoop to the Asp , ready to blitz the 5000 LY requirement for Palin, as I seem to be just short.

I had forgotten how good the view is from the Asp cockpit in VR. Think I might enjoy the trip, although still undecided where to go.
