Started the slow pleasure cruise from Jaques back to the bubble to take a peek at that alien ship wreck and to prep the cutter for the Galactic Nebula Expedition starting on Saturday.
Dirty deeds done dirt cheap for reasonable prices

Fuel Rat by day, smuggler by night.
Been working through the Engineers to upgrade both ships for these specific purposes.
I have a Diamondback Explorer that can jump 45ly at a time and outfitted to cross 400lys without refueling. It will get across the bubble in a hurry. So if you run out of fuel drop the Fuel Rats a line at: https://www.fuelrats.com
The smuggler is a Cobra MK III. I'm currently working to make it the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy...

Indeed. I actually wasn't bothering with modding much until after they changet the scooped amount and adjusted the requirements.

It makes a big difference to get enough for 3 rolls for every one thing you recover instead of having to do three times as much work for one roll.

Well after blowing half my hard earned cash on a Vette (A Rated and about 450T cargo) I set off to Fliss to roll some jump range. Only 17 Jumps to get there. Dawg followed me, bless his heart. Think he did it on one tank. :P

3 Rolls Level 5 and second one was best. Managed to get a 20.54 unladen range. I was QUITE happy with that.

Rolled a Level 1 Dirty Drive, Level 1 Boosters X4 (all over 4.5 reduction on all three with one that got a bonus for 5.52 reduction in damage across the board), Level 1 Overcharge Power Plant that is up to 41mw. All and all, a productive night.


Need to change the weapons a bit as I am not happy with the particular loadout I am running.
2X Huge Multis
1X Large Pulse Turret
2X Medium Multis
2X Small Multis

Going to switch the small Multis to Beams and the Pulse to a Burst.

Other than that, quite happy with it. Now it needs a name. Didn't Leisure Suit Larry wear Gold Chains and drive a Vette? Maybe Larry is a good name.... Need to drink and think. :P

Finding Polymer Capacitors

So, got Didi Vatermann unlocked to Level 5. Now it's just a matter of finding Polymer Capacitors so I can craft some Level 5 Shield Boosters.

Allegedly they are found in the debris fields of authority ships in only Anarchy systems. Any other tips?

How well does your Vette manouver after that?

I put Lightweight Armour on my Mil grade and Heavy Duty on my Class 4 HRP. Just to keep the manouverability.
