I think after some thought and deliberation that I have to side with the Empire, on the grounds that the Feds are so far up their own backsides that they can see what they had for dinner last week.

Also, they tend to use a lot of bad language like, scum, and fag. You don`t hear the Empire bad mouthing off, at least not me.

Also, I`m of the impression that the Feds are a bunch of greedy, self-righteous morons who don`t know their arse from their elbows. The Empire (capital E) have style, and know how to brew a beer thank you very much, and we don`t go around calling people scum and poof, but we use proper words like : bottom feeder, Sapphic etc - because we`re educated.

And because when I was a kid, I thought Darth Vader was cool, and I rode a BMX Pirahna - and when I was in my teens I used to hang around the smokin corner in school and pretended to be tough with a leather jacket on while all the Feds wore their ties proper, and went around with Prefect badges on trying to make money selling Fags (cigarettes for the Merry Cans) to the new first forms.

I'm an Imperial subject; always was in FE2/FFE, although I was never overly political.

I was no great fan of the Imperial leadership - they always have the impression of being infinitely more concerned with their own power and wealth than their citizenry. But on the other hand the Federal government always struck me as wildly insincere. So I tended to drift between and around Empire, Fed and the indy systems and just pick up freight and contracts where I found them.

The way I see the Feds is like Tesco's taking over a town with a huge supermarket and killing off small businesses all in the name of commercialism and materialism etc.

I've found that people who keep little Philippine woman in their houses to do all the work for little or no wages don't generally like Tesco either.

Off course, empires have never had anything to do with nasty commercialism.
