Took a mission to deliver Expansion Data from the Order in Exioce to Nysa. The destination was 500,000Ls from the star and it took me a good twenty minutes to get there. I hope we don't end up with that dump. It was a crappy outpost with nothing good for sale.

I use an Internet fail-over Router and the other ISP connection kicked in when the main ISP signal broke somewhere a disconnect occurred probably my end which is usually the case.

Correct, because unless you have an AS (Wikipedia) and get the same IP for the new connection, the server isn't going to see your connection as coming from the same IP, as your ISPs issue different ones. Fail-over Internet connections are really only for stateless connections, as any established connections will have issues with the IP change.

Very true, the second connection of course different IP and my backup for my online Poker Game where one has only a "X" number of seconds to get back in the game or lose your Chips, we use to have poor ISP service here, recently fiber 150 arrived. Yes.

Not feeling like grinding currently so I converted my combat conda to an explorer conda and left the bubble yesterday in a wing with CMDR Georgios. We're currently 1000ly away in California Nebula. No idea where to go next, we're deciding on the spot.

Making my way into the bubble. To Maia to be exact. Still about 4K lys away. Interestingly I came across a USS with a wrecked ship and a small data cache. Didn't pick up the data cache as I didn't want to keep getting intradicted for carrying illegal cargo.
Also came across an undiscovered Neutron star and an undiscovered Earth-like.

Funny you should mention Maia. I decided to change the loadout on my ASP from multi to exploration yesterday out on a limb and just went "somewhere" without big route planning (reckless, but fun anyway), then the Pleiades nebula seemed perfect enough to lose my exploration virginity - so to say. Once I reached the nebula I accidentally travelled to Maia, saw my first black hole and was quite happy about the $ I made from just exploring a couple of systems.

I think I like exploration - it's relaxing. (verdict to be changed immediately upon first stupid death by "not breaking" in new star system, heh)

I had to laugh when I read your message, Rimsplitter.

I do a lot of missions out of my home system (Gende) and Nysa frequently pops up as a destination (9ly away) for missions on the board. After the first time you run over to Nysa and learn your lesson, and the correct response to any future missions is "oh, hell no!".

The two outposts are about 500k ls from the sun and can be 1m ls apart depending on orbits. Just think about what would happen if you are almost to the outpost for your mission, and you receive a "mission critical message" that they changed your destination to the other outpost.

Today I signed up for the Crab Nebula Expedition. About 400 people going with the rosters closing tonight at 23:00 in-game-time. I already did a test run by going to MAIA and then to the California Nebula yesterday, all seems good with my explorer conda.

I just f*cked up big time. I clicked "Sell your stored ship" instead of "Retrieve your old ship and store your current ship" and accidentally sold my A-rated Cutter (bought at 20% discount) with Engineer mods that took a week to get.

Update: I filed a ticket with FDev but unfortunately they can't restore sold ships. Oh well.

Engineers suck. All the stuff needed should be in the markets. They should only put missions to grant engis confidence. Its crazy all the things youve got to do for any ship you got
