Aibiko, near Chemaku. Eagle was at the other station in Aibiko, so now on to running the Eagle around a bit... good for small hauling missions when lack of credits prevent expensive trade goods. Switched the scanner for another 2to cargo hold, and noticed that despite ONLY 100cr , the mission payments, even for scrap hauls, earn money pretty well. Made some 14, 000 cr in about 1, 5 hours easy.
Eagle can outrun most interdictors even if they managre to pull you out of SC... had a Pirate in an Asp(!!!) that was inclined on stealing my Scrap! Balancing, and reasonable interdiction seems still in dire need of adjustment!
Well, today is DCS day, I'll check next week, if I can get the money for a Hauler or Cobra, as jumping to Sol/Earth seems impossible even with an empty Eagle or Sidey...

Initial start was in a station named Tereshenko or something like that, don't know what system it is in and never checked the map to find out. Due to the fact that I hadn't disabled the mouse look option and was still messing around with control bindings, I ended up with a mission I couldn't possibly complete . So, since I was facing paying a large fine and only having the 100Cr starting cash I decided to delete the save and begin again, after all the only thing I stood to lose was a fine I couldn't pay.

The restart put me in LTT 15449. Flew to the closest system Granthaimi and had some scan info accredited to me on the way which I sold for around 2000Cr then flew on to Mokosh. Only then did I think to look for the free Eagle and found that it was in LTT 15449 where I had began. Going to leave it there for now and stick with the Sidewinder for a while longer.

I also cleared my save, to spawn my Eagle in the same system I started, and my new starting system was LHS 1914. That cost me nearly 20K Cr, but at least I can now switch ships without traveling 150 Ly.

Started on a smaller Station in Aibiko, with my Eagle at one of the bigger stations. Not a bad start area, there is a nice refinery system not far off with "A lot" of minerals etc which sell nicely not far away - Ty for the nice start ED

Ah, a fellow LHS 1914 person! I guess it was you I spotted on my scanner earlier today. The only human I have seen since Gamma was released. It feels a bit lonely this spawning across many light years. Only NPC's around me. Would love to see Frontier implementing some sort of "base" for private groups.

Wasn't there talk about the Mobius Group making one of the Stations as our spiritual home? Make it a place to meet up and go on missions together, safety in numbers and all that.

That would be Rafferty's Mobius orbiting Rafferty's Paradise. It's Mobius' planet and station from the Kickstarter Rewards, but I do not know the system name. Mobius?

Edit: I just had the time to play for the first time since the premiere. Of course I used one of the Kickstarter specials and started in the founders world with a long range Cobra to look around a bit. Made my way to Sol in a few hops, as probably many thousand other commanders.
Oh the memories! Seeing all the old Names of the stations, Abraham Lincoln, Mars high etc. And also Ross 128 needs a permit to enter just like in the old games. Totally blown away!
I desperately need more time for playing!
