I don't get the connection here. How is a T7 and a FDL related?

I'm using a T7 to trade towards a Corvette. I was thinking of trading for an FDL, but a Corvette sounded better.

I honestly think you would be better off in a python (more cargo, can land at outposts, and defend itself) the t7 has slightly better jump range. (ok it costs three times as much but....)

Or you could sign up with space Trump and whore resource sites in a vulture.

You can always make your own cat of nine tails.
Take an old leather belt and divide into three equal lengths,

Make two parralell cuts in each strip so you have three strands, leave about two inches left in one end so the strands don't fully separate but are kept together.
Lastly you can staple or lash the leather strands to a handle of sorts, like part of a broom handle or something.

Voilá, you have your own flagellation grade whip.

Trading to get a Corvette just gives me the shakes lol. I'd turn into a mushroom if all I did was shuttle tonnage back and forth.

The real money, so I have heard, is smuggling runs out of Robigo which I tried with disastrous results. Mainly because I built a smuggling ship that was made out of paper instead of a proper combat ship so I could kill pirates instead of running away screaming like a little girl lol

Bounty Hunting is ok for a bit, and it will help you learn how to interdict

And then we have resource site farming which is my favorite. If you get to a minimum rank 3 with one of the power play personalities you will gain a minimum of a 20% boost to bounty payouts. Then depending on your patron's ranking it goes up 30/40/50 %. If you go crazy like I did and get to rank 5 it goes to 100% all the time.

Also the power play salary is pretty nice.

Rank 3 is 50,000 credit/week
Rank 4 is 5,000,000 credits/week
Rank 5 is 50,000,000 credits/week

Its not all peaches and cream though as you need to constantly work on merits to maintain you rank.

I've jumped in to the Vulture to check out Res sites. I did nip in to a CZ last night and found the Federal Navy fighting itself. That made choosing a side a bit difficult.
