Just to be clear though, If I am interdicted by these pricks, can I engage? Or should I just leg it. TBH I mostly fly unarmed when I'm trading and rely upon running away. However if I'm in my Vulture....

You cannot and must not fire the first shot or you become the aggressor. Officially the word is not to retaliate either because they may (successfully) paint you as the bad guy. My personal approach is that any confirmed threat, that is one that has been reported by others AND either attacked me with intent (not accidental fire) and/or witnessed attacking with intent other commanders, will be handled accordingly. This is not an approach I recommend for those inexperienced with PvP, as your ships and likely your combat skills will probably not be up to the task (totally different flying style, and ship loadout is necessary). Running is the best option.

We generally recommend not engaging with players breaking our rules, ideally capture a screen shot of the interdiction in progress (the interdicting player will show up as a red hollow triangle), target the player so their details appear on your scanner readout and get another screen shot as you leg it.

Submit the screen shots to an Admin or Mod here via a PM, and the offending player will be dealt with appropriately.

Might be worth dropping FD a ticket, say that due to the issue with the group roster that griefers exploited the system and whilst they have now been removed (and reported), you still lost your ship to them in the intermediate period.

You never know, FD may look kindly on you.

Cool. I wouldn't ever shoot first, I'd likely not even have guns. But the way my cutter has been handling lately, I might end up spinning out of control in to them. Things explode when they hit it.

There is an (erroneous) assumption that everyone in Mobius is a carebear who doesn't know how to fight. In short, to this lot, everyone looks like a victim...

How did these guys manage to get into Mobius, while there are so many other commanders pending acceptance?
These guys must have sneaked in sometime ago and waited for an opportunity to pull this stunt.
Although I was at the CG, I did not come across these guys. Might not have been able to take on a CMDR flying an FAS but my Python can still ding a shield ring or 2 before high waking out.

i have no idea if this will even help - SDC roster in Star Citizen. GluttonyFang uses the same name in Elite for example.
