Side note: why do so many players in this group use docking computers? It makes no sense. Dangerous ranked pythons with training wheels?

You'll find them often referred too as 'Coffee computers' or 'Toilet break computers' having one means you can step away from your PC a lot sooner with little worry as before you showed up nobody got killed while using one.

Ok let's not turn this into a baiting and trolling competition.

Duly noted. Back to the topic at hand.

The "offense" took place in a CZ, denoted by his chosen faction under his name. This is within the group's rules if I am not mistaken.

A good way to make friends around here might be to pay less heed to the letter of the law & more attention to it's spirit.

I was actually in the CZ when you showed up, but bugged out 'coz I had a weird feeling something 'notable' was about to happen and didn't have the time to become part of the narrative.

I am following this tale with some curiosity & a wee bit of amusement from the sidelines as it unfolds.

BTW I'm also of the school who think docking computers are a waste of space here. Never had one, never will. Complete opposite of '86, when it was always the very first item anyone bought. But it's a choice. 'Taint no thang :)

I did notice you pop in behind me while this was going on :)

This whole tale has been rather amusing, both in-game and in the community responses. No denying that the danger and risk/excitement has made the event more memorable, bringing the community closer together more than mindless NPC shooting ever will ;)

And yes, I've never used a docking computer either. Waste of space if you're as obsessed with build optimisation as some are (myself included). Same with gimbaled and turreted weapons.

If this would have been the only report, I might even be inclined to look through evidence that prove your innocence. In dubio pro reo.

In fact, if you look at how this thread started, our first reaction was as always: Make sure this was no honest mistake or misunderstanding in the heat of battle. We do not jump the gun. We want to be open an fair.
And we are open for dialogue with all players and groups, even those promoting a gamestyle opposed to our private group policy. The private group remains untouched by that. We do not promote our playstyle to be played outside of our private group, and inside our rules have to be kept. It's that simple.

But you know very well, that this first report is not what got you removed from the group.
Your comments made in other places speak for themselves. So let's just ignore this first "incident" and get to the point of admitting that there were several cases of getting players inside the group into bad situations on purpose, just for fun, that got their ships destroyed or at least dealt them a gameplay setback, that would not have happend, if you would not have provoced it.

Also, I am not inclined to discuss how to interprete our own policy here to the letter. Read it, and you will see at the very beginning the purpose of the policy. To cover some details so the genral spirit of this PvE group is clear. A great number of players have no issue abiding to this spirit (I will also not go into a discussion of how many are active or not, only FD knows that.)

So to me, it was clear that your intention (by your comments elesewhere) was not to be a part of this group to play by its (very obvious IMHO) spirit, but to disturb the game of others to have some fun.

PS: Also immediatly sold my docking computer after trying once. It is much faster (and safer IMHO) to dock manually ;)

So the opening part of the description ;
This group is for those who want to play Elite Dangerous and enjoy what the game has to offer without having to worry about other players spoiling your game.

Clearly covers abusing game mechanics to get others killed.

DUDE! WTF is this moron even doing here? Shoot it in the head and throw it out. Let the little punk go "troll" some other group.

Man. It's pretty pathetic to see what passes for trolling these days. It used to require a semblance of intellect.
