I got back a few days ago and repaired my eagle at the first station I could find. Then I carried on and sold the data at Rafferty's Mobius.

No interdictions (but I'm not pledged to anyone). The only scary bit was dumping it on the landing pad because I'd forgotten what keys to use, and losing 20% hull.

If you're prepared to sell that data at our home station (Rafferty's Mobius in Azrael) there are a couple of us who are willing to run an escort wing from just outside the bubble...

Count me in, too. Have got a decent conda and python, but would use a vulture for escort duties.

Agreed that the way the forum mechanics present it are sub-optimal, it would be MUCH better if it just appeared to members without the unnecessary announcement but I have ZERO control over that. It's just the best option available to me right now.

Are you unshielded?

That would be the main reason I would be really really concerned. IF you support a PP power or carrying cargo maybe but if you just have Exploration data, while I wouldn't be overly concerned I would be wary and hitting the closest Station is always a good idea

I do have shields, Class 3A. I figure that if I do get interdicted, I will just boost as much as possible until the FSD recharges.

Before your final jump you can select your destination station from the galmap - system map while your fsd is charging so no hanging around at your local star just turn away and cruise home.

Wow, since July! That's a long time. I am flying in the uncharted void just since 3 weeks (mostly just on weekends though) and I feel already out of touch with CG's and what not. Good luck with your data, Commander Jaimes!

Thanks. I play about 10-20 hrs/week. I spent about a month around or below the core systems then felt the same way and started back. I figure I have 3000+ systems of data to sell. I will post before and after pics.

Thanks for all the great replies guys! I am independent, PP didn't impress me too much. Since it didn't serve exploring, I dropped out of my pledge. It seems I don't have too much to worry about and I don't have to go through much of civ space with a well equipped border station.

Well I have been out since May. I got over 5k systems scanned. Heading for raffertys with a canopy that looks like a spiders web. 6,5k lys to go so thats two of us with nice data to sell.
