Some clarification please

I bounty hunt exclusively in LTT 15574 with a friend and last night we found ourselves instanced with 3 other mobius players in the Hazardous REZ site in LTT 15574 5. These players would repeatedly try and fly into our laser fire so that we would incur the wanted status and then proceed to attack us. They were flying a Fer-de-Lance, Vulture and Asp respectively while I was in my Python and my friend, a starter, a Cobra Mk III. How is this tolerated in a so called PVE group? Do I have any recourse but to name and shame if I want to play in this group or should I simply abandon ship to my own private group.

Whoah, let me stop you there, this post is a load of crap. I was the vulture, two of my friends were the ASP and the FDL, We were in LTT 15574 Haz 5 (as usual) when YOU and your mate jumped in and started getting last hits on our kills. I messaged in local something to the effect of "You'd of thought the belt went all the way round this planet" which you didn't reply too. So me, the ASP and the FDL LEFT the site and went over to HAZ 3, we didn't fly anywhere near your lasers and definitely didn't shoot at you and your pal. You didn't respond to messages so we just didn't bother, theres more than one site in the system and i'd rather just head over to a different site than play a game of who got the last kill with you two. I've been using LTT 15574 since i started with mobius a few months ago and i've only ever seen you there once. I'm not arguing that you never fly there but many people from LTT 15574 can vouch for me when i say that i'm considerate towards other players, i even drop out of a site if i'm on my own and a wing jumps in. This wasn't the case, you dropped in on our site and didn't even have the courtesy to say anything or even move away from the beacon knowing full well we were there before you.

I then messaged steo to advise as when we jumped out he was on his way over to the site, at this point we were already comitted to heading over to Haz 3 so didn't bother coming back. What happened after that i have no idea, but it's definitely not as black and white as your post seems to make it and i don't intend on getting banned from this group for the blatent lie you're telling in your post. Steolav can vouch for me on this, the other two cmdrs i was with at the time will also have the same view as me. Mobius was informed at the time aswell.

I didn't mind at the time but what you're doing is withholding the actual truth. We were long gone before anyone attacked you, you should check the names on footage you claimed to have after we left.

It's as black and white as your blips showed up red attacking me. I'm sorry but you were 100% in the wrong in this regard and you have no authority to tell people to leave "your" Rez site. Are you seriously trying to play the "I was here first" game with me, because that is utter bullshit and I will call you out on it. The fact that I was actually explaining to my friend in the cobra, REZ etiquette and how you never steal another players ships is just utterly ironic as you guys came in guns blazing in about 3/5 of all our kills where I started the assault from scratch. Thanks to you, a new player, someone that JUST joined Mobius has been put off and probably won't come out again unless in my private group. You were the bullies, the instigators and just plain bad sports. I wish we had the screen shots of the verbal harassment you started typing in chat after you failed to steal our first Anaconda. You guys were just plain toxic.

well when me and Ezza were in there we were attacking an anaconda and you fired on me turning you red at which point ezza saw the wanted tag and thought you were an npc however i told him to cease firing it was a simple accident in all honesty. and you tried to claim i flew into your fire which i cleary did not just chalk it up as an accident no one got hurt no one died your sheilds were not even penetrated

I fired into you because unless I was firing point blank into every ship you would try and intercept my lasers. The fact that your mate seems to think that he has the rights to ANY site in a public group goes a long way to show how HE was in the wrong. We were in that REZ site for a good 20 mins before we saw anybody on our scanners and when we did, I started explaining to him that we only should focus on the lone targets that you guys weren't engaging.

I'm not trying to make it out as my site, i don't care who drops in aslong as we keep our space, theres plenty of it and plenty of enemies to shoot at. But i can definitely tell you NONE of us attacked you. You were never red, never purple on our radars. Whats ironic is that we said the same thing, there were plenty of kills we started only to get no bounty when they blew.

You obviously didn't check your scanners, when you dropped in there was 3 of us there. Then we jumped and left you two there in peace.

What verbal harassment? The only message i sent was a local chat saying "You'd think the belt went all the way around the planet" , after that nothing, we didn't talk to you, you didn't talk to us - i think you've got your wires crossed here or at least a bit confused on what ship belonged to who..

On a side note, your mate shouldn't leave, the environment isn't toxic and this is just one instance of something not going as intended. We had a new starter with us at the time who's hungry for creds and i can agree that haz sites are one of the best ways to make cash, theres just plenty of them - that's why we move when someone jumps in; hence going over to haz 3. We always extend a wing invite to anyone that wants to make some quick cash.

I'm going to accept that you left the instance, but what are the chances that another vulture and FDL were in there when we got attacked by players? I don't scan commanders as it's a PVE group and a waste of time / credits so I can't say with a hundred per cent certainty that it was or was not you in the end. If it was not you and you did head to site 3, then I will apologise for thinking it was you. All I can tell, is that whoever was in that instance with me, in a Vulture + FDL combo was toxic and should not be in Mobius.

As far as i can tell i don't think there were any other vultures/FDL's in syste, could be wrong. I'm not trying to rug your claims and i apologise if my initial post came across harsh, but it just did not happen like that from our perspective. I can assure you we didn't engage you or the cobra, and we didn't drop any messages your way apart from my sarcy comment about the size of the ring.

It's just not pretty being accused of something that we just didn't do, we were there for a long time before we saw you. It could be that we were both just too far away for scans to come up, i don't know. In any case what happened shouldn't have and is the exact reason we leave sites to avoid any conflict on who's kill is who's.

In any case, make sure your pal doesn't leave due to this, if we see you in future we'll be sure to avoid you(the good avoid, not the bad one)

For future reference, when you believe there has been an infringement of Mobius rules please take screen shots and/or video and send it to a Mod or Admin, the discussions can then take place with them.

Trust me, I know from personal experience, that the forum is not the place to have the argument.

LTT 15574 is fantastic system. LRES, HRES, HAZRES, Conflict Zones, Haxel Port sells a lot of great modules... I have been using it as a home system for a while. Oddly enough, I don't run into many other players there. But on one occasion I did, and seems similar to what I am reading above.

In my situation neither of us were keeping a close eye on our radars and he flew in front of my fire, I got flagged by the cops and was running for it. The other player was chasing me too, and that is when I got messaged and asked why i fired on him. I said I didn't do it intentionally, that I think he flew in front of my multi-cannons, and that I didn't even know another player was in the same instance. He said he wasn't aware of me either. He chuckled. I laughed. Then I jumped out. He sent me a friends request shortly after and since then we chat once in a while in game, and have even winged up a few times even though he is an Empire-Loving-Scum-Suck. He turned out to be a good pal.

I have yet to meet anybody in this player group that is a d-bag.
