What irritates me about that Thread Falcon is the fact that a former Mobius member and Code harpy blatantly said that because they themselves saw combat, that any military member who suffers any kind of issue and can get it triggered by a video game is full of crap.

That is the machoistic BS that causes vets to clam up and not seek help and end up committing suicide.

I saw some of those replies and don't really agree with their points of view. Actually when I read those posts the first thing that came to my mind was "my god, you guys must be really blood thirsty", my very personal opinion is that these are the people that really do need some counseling.

I can appreciate your point of view. I was once in the army (Armoured Infantry, then later infantry combat medic.) But I've never seen actual combat. I can appreciate players who just want to fly in space, trade, explore and shoot up soulless machine generated/controlled pixels, and just have fun.

I have done PvP before in other games, but I don't really like it cause I know that there is another human being on the other end. In some areas of some of the games I've played, everyone knows we are PvPing and its pretty friendly (CQC type zones.) Sort of like playing football (soccer) with friends. But places like Open are not really like that.

The thing is, without proper group controls which enable/disable PvP in a group these kind of issues might surface again.

When I get interdicted, and an eagle is telling my python "there's no escape!", I take extra pleasure in melting them down.

LOL, yeah, I get a kick out of that too when I get an Eagle or small ship same Interdict my combat Anaconda and tell me how I am "going to get it if I don't give them my loot", that I don't have by the way but seemingly they forgot to load in a scanner.

Hopefully, 1.4 boost to the NPC algorithms make them a little more discretionary. Seems a bit ridiculous, albeit annoying, when you get interdicted by a Sidewinder or Eagle in a large ship; especially, the Anaconda, since the beast just doesn't do well in general with manuervering out of interdictions due to its size.

Hello,

I suppose generally its meant to be someone who takes pleasure in disrupting or otherwise ruining your entertainment/pleasure.
For example, in this game, someone who just comes along and blows up your trade ships just for laughs. Sometimes these people are also called "griefers".

Pirates would ask you to drop your cargo. Someone looking to disrupt your trade cause he's/she's affiliated with an opposing power would give you a heads up warning. etc.
