6A with 4 A rated boosters. And a couple A3 Shield Cell Banks.

Red's shields max out at betwen 714 and 726 MJ (depending on which site you ask). Highest possible on a Python without prismatic shields. :D

A7 shields, 7 x A boosters, 3x SCB's , 2 bulkhead reinforcement packages and a military hull... that's my Conda ;)

Seeing as I can't fly I just tank :D 8 turrets FTW. Combat zones are where I spend nearly all of my game time.

My python was the same as yours Box

In my rather loony opinion, that's the only way to fly a combat Anaconda :D

Or at least... the most fun. "Give'em another broadside!!!"

Seriously, I've never felt quite as powerful as when I flew my old turreted Anaconda. Didn't quite have enough at the time for Military Grade and all those boosters, so I eventually sold it and kept the Python, but man was it fun while it lasted.

I'm still trying to upgrade Lady Jayne (Python) to A6 shields. Now I have C6 and 2 A boosters, with 1 SCB. My shields have gone down a few times. One time, it when down and a missile managed to blow her up. I plan to upgrade her to all A rated, with Mil grade hull. But its going to take some time. This would really kill the jump range but I don't care. Jump into more systems and do more discovery. :)

Have fun, fly safe.

Hmm. I have the standard D6 shields and they could do with an upgrade but I've just taken a side-turn in my space career and I am now driving a mining Python. So far I have made more money from the pirates who keep trying to steal my worthless rubble than I have from mining.

I've heard it said before, if your shields are down, you've already lost. Definitely true if you want to make profit in a CZ.

That said, if the shields are inherently weak on a particular ship, to where upgrades won't help enough, it's a nice insurance policy, though the premiums (repairs) suck.

Approx 14.7ly in a combat spec A grade Python. Took 248 million credits to buy and build mine.

I have been using this for one of the current CG's and it works very well indeed it seems. Very combat orientated obviously.
