Of course there is the possibility that it was the same commander that tried attacking me and who knows, perhaps others. We could compare names but I didn't get it, my bad.

One good thing about the above... isn't it a good thing that "i" am not in a position to kick anyone out of the 'private group' / "corporation" as "i" was in my former role in one particular mmorg? Well, in that game "i" would not have suggested that hasty decisions either

I do not have at present have a struggle with said commander "x".........

Although should a similar occurrence happen again....The fine fellow will notice on attending the WC to deposit some solid matter that he has a new one ripped.....

Shouldn't think so.. But I can say that I made a complete arse of myself a little earlier...
In my first wing and forgot to chose a faction.. Sigh.
But .. Got it right the second time and OMG...OMG!!!
My limitless thanks to the CMDR who nursed me through it.
Can I say that - I am now officially a wingman, anyone needs a dedicated saviour and assistant... Gimme a call.

The wing that I was in noticed you and we did keep a close eye on you. We thought that you may have been in to snipe and run, since you didn't choose a faction. Of course we also thought that you weren't sure what to do. I was going to send a "hello" to you, but it was just too hectic at the time to lose focus.

Wouldn't this thread be a perfect opportunity to post an explanation on HOW TO CHOOSE A FACTION IN A CONFLICT ZONE ?

It's in the panel on the right, under FUNCTIONS ... it's set to FACTION = NONE by default when entering a combat zone, this lets you choose one of the two conflicting factions. Combat bonds are only paid if you choose a faction / side you fight for, hand in your vouchers when docked (see CONTACTS/COMBAT BONDS).
